New Life In Christ
YOU CAN PASS FROM DEATH TO LIFE!
YOUR PART:
1. You must hear the Word (Bible)
The Bible tells us that we are sinners and are abiding in death. "The soul that sinneth, it shall die.," Ezekiel 18:4b. It also tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
2. You must repent of your sins.
To repent means to change from your past evil. To turn away from it. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..." Acts 3:10a.
3. You must believe in Christ.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." Acts 16:31. To believe means to realize that Christ died for your sins. It means to come to Christ with all your sins, asking Him to save you. It also means trusting Him to receive you and save you.
GOD'S PART:
1. He will forgive your sins.
2. He will give you eternal life.
HAVE YOU CROSSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE?
If not, do it right now! Tomorrow may be too late. Just now ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. The very moment you do, you will pass from death to life.
Here is a an example of a prayer that you can pray from your heart to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour:
Being convinced that I am a sinner, and desiring to pass from death to life, I NOW repent of my sins and by believing accept Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. With His help I intend to confess Him before men. Amen.
