Singing Hymns Rich in Theology
At Park Lawn many of the hymns we sing in worship are older, but we choose them specifically because the poetry is rich in truth about God. Singing them emphasizes the greatness of God and His mighty works. Scriptural choruses are as well a part of our worship, without the contemporary music scene that has invaded many churches today. Our worship time is Christ-honouring and refreshingly conservative.
The Bible We Use
The Authorized King James Version of the Bible is the chosen text of usage in the preaching and teaching ministry of our church. We believe it to be the most accurate and faithful rendering of the Word of God in the English language.
